Roddy Jessup | Managing Partner
Shoshin means "a beginner’s mind"—a philosophy of approaching every experience with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to learn. As the founder and managing partner of Shoshin Capital, Roddy does his best to embrace this mindset in everything he does.
In spite of decades of collective experience, we believe that continuous learning and improvement are key to delivering the best possible experience for our investors. By staying open to new ideas and opportunities, we ensure that our strategies remain dynamic, forward-thinking, and focused on long-term success.
Originally from California, Roddy lives in Asheville, NC with his beautiful wife, 2 human boys and 2 vizsla girls. When he's not working, he is obsessed with golf (now that his 46 year old knees won't let him play soccer anymore) and anything that allows him to be in the water. He is grateful every day for the multitude of ways that God has blessed his life.
